This piece of media is a writing assignment for my Writing for Media class. For this assignment, I analyzed current events surrounding the WNBA, an organization I have a passion for. This piece was created this in the fall of 2025, and the target audience was my professor and classmates, as well as fans of the WNBA. The learning objectives addressed by this assignment were 1 & 2. I addressed leaning outcome 1 by creating a news piece that was an easy read, and used effective communication to keep the piece short and impactful. Learning outcome 2 was fulfilled by watching different news stories, interviews, and looking at statistics to create a news story.
